Day 1: Madras (Chennai) - Mahabalipuram [1 H 30 - 50 Km]

Welcome at the airport of Madras and road to Mahabalipuram. Night at the hotel.

Day 2: Mahabalipuram - Pondichery [2 H - 95 Km]

Discovery the temples on the sea shore. Swimming possibility. Road in direction of the ancient French trading post : Pondichery. Visit of the city. Night in in a guest house.

Day 3: Pondichery - Tanjavur [210 Km - 5/6 H of drive]

Road to Darasuram. Visit of Airatesvara temple. We carry on to the city of Tanjavur. Visit of Brihadishwara temple. Night at the hotel.

Day 4: Tanjavur - Trichy - Madurai [180 Km - 5/6 H of drive]

Departure in direction of the city of Trichy, where you will find two temples. Towards the South, we reach the big city of Madurai in the early evening. Night at the hotel.

Day 5: Madurai

Visit of the city. Visit of the huge sacred complex of Meenakshi, from the palace to the market. Night at the hotel.

Day 6: Madurai - Periyar [160 Km - 4 H of drive]

Direction to Periyar National park, at the border of Kerala. Visit of the park, by boat and by walk. Night at the hotel.

Day 7: Periyar - Alleppey [130 Km - 2/3 H of drive]

Road to the coastal city of Allepey. Visit of the shopping city. You’ve got the possibility to swim in the Indian ocean. Night in a guest house.

Day 8: House boat on the Backwaters

We go on board of a traditional “house - boat”, welcome by the crew, and we sail on the canals, lagoons and lakes. Diner and overnight on board (double room).

Day 9: House-boat - Cochin (Kochi) [60 Km - 1 H 30 of drive]

Return to Allepey by boat. Short stage to Fort Cochin. On the way, you’ve got the possibility to bath on the beach of Marari. Visit of the town. Night at the hotel.

Day 10: Cochin - Ooty [270 Km - 5/6 H of drive]

Long day of drive. We first get to Trichur, where we visit Krishna temple. Then we soon get back in the mountains of the western Ghats. Visit of Ooty. Night at the hotel.

Day 11: Ooty - Mysore [160 Km - 3/4 H of drive]

Road to Mysore, visit of the green city. Visit of the Palace of Maharaja, the hill of Chamundi and stroll in the market. Night at the hotel.

Day 12: Mysore - Belur [230 Km - 4/5 H of drive]

Direction to the North, we get to Belur and Halebid. Visit of the superb temples. Night at the hotel at Belur.

Day 13: Belur - Hospet (Hampi) [270 Km - 5/6 H of drive]

Road to Hospet, at the doors of the lost kingdom of Hampi where the ruins arise from the mountains. Night at the hotel.

Road to Aihole, a village in the country side. Visit of Badami. Night at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Bombay. End of our services.
